Our Vineyards
Now in its third generation, the estate extends over 35 hectares in the heart of the Anjou appellation, renowned for its rosé wines: Cabernet d’Anjou and Rosé d’Anjou.
The terroir benefits from a mild climate with slaty clay, limestone and sandy soils, which offer perfect conditions for the vine. The climate is temperate and experiences low temperature extremes, thanks to the proximity of the Atlantic Ocean and the regulating role of the Loire. Hence the well-known expression “la douceur angevine” (sweet and gentle Anjou).
We are wine growers and producers of a range of eleven AOC wines, one IGP wine and a Vin de France, the Cuvée Maxime.
We were silver medal winners in the Ligers 2014 competition for our IGP Sauvignon and gold medalists in 2015 for Anjou Rouge, silver medalists for Anjou Rouge 2016, bronze for the Rosé de Loire 2016 and bronze for the Cabernet d’Anjou 2016.
The main red varieties are :
Gamay which is a more unusual variety in our region.
Grolleaufound in the Rosé d’Anjou, the Rosé de Loire and the Saumur Méthode traditionnelle rosé.

The main grape varieties we grow for white wines are :

le sauvignon cépage qui donne le nom au vin et qui est un blanc sec fruité
